Cynis Fandral

Cynis Denovah Fandral is an unExalted Dynast serving in the 4th Imperial Legion, as scalelord commanding the 1st Dragon 2nd Wing 2nd Talon 1st Scale. He comes from a poor-bred and disgraced line of House Cynis in Pangu Prefecture.

A young man, Fandral is beautiful of face and quick of blade, a dashing playboy with a daring and carefree attitude. The influence of his elder brother Cynis Avaku, first in the family line for generations to be Exalted by the Dragons, secured him a post in the 4th Imperial Legion, though some (including Fandral himself) will claim his family purchased his commission to spirit him away from the wrath of a trio of Exalted sisters at the Palace of Trees with whose affections he had toyed.

Fandral is a friend and henchman of Sesus Septimus, the two having met along with Sesus Volstagg and Peleps Hogun aboard the ship carrying Septimus and Fandral to their new posts in the 4th Legion.

In the Campaign against the Anathema-Voivode, Fandral served in several battles, notably the Hunt for the Great Bear, Battle of the Thisian Bridge, and Battle on the Wall of Ice. For his performance in the campaign, Fandral was moved from commanding a scale in the 10th Dragon to one in the elite and honoured 1st Dragon.

Fandral is unbetrothed, though there may be difficulty accounting for illegitimate children.
