The Southwestern Seas are a region of Creation's West, stretching from the coast of An-Teng westward towards the edges of the Wyld. It is known for its warm waters, its sandy islands (oft home to palms or thick jungle vegetation), and the bright colours and beautiful shapes of its fish and its coral.
The winds of the Southwest are steady and reliable, a boon to sailors plying the waters there. However, for all this stability, the region is also known for the sudden and unpredictable emergence of thunderstorms and typhoons, which treaten shipping and island peoples alike.
