Karathay

Karathay is a sandy island kingdom, independent of Realm influence. Its inhabitants are said to be tainted by Wyld mutation, and are known for their expertise as weavers of plant fibres and seaweed, and at crafting local coral, as well as their seagoing Balsa rafts. Karathay is home to a fortified Guild Trade Factory, the merchant cabal’s primary outpost in the region.

Geography

Karathay is located west of Highcliff and far to the north of the Forsaken Isle, the waters to its north rich in all manner of squid and other cephalopods, which form a key part of the local diet. Further to the north is the island of Murak, and the much-sought expanse of the Seaweed Fields
