The 30th Imperial Legion has long served as a garrison force in the southeast of the Blessed Isle. After the treason of Saloy Hin's 17th Imperial Legion, and the redeployment of the 16th Imperial Legion and 18th Imperial Legion to bring him to heel, the 30th Legion has been forced to expand its area of operations across the Isle's entire Southern coast, dividing its units to fill emptied garrison posts and shore forts. Few in the Legion are pleased with the arrangement.

The 30th Legion is famed for its warstrider contingent, which has three striders capable of aerial maneuvers.
