Bright Parasol Prefecture

A coastal prefecture east of Arjuf Dominion across the Caracal River, Bright Parasol is home to open plains upon which plantations raise Beef Cattle (particularly praised amongst gourmands for their fine marbling) and care for the favoured racehorses of the Dynastic elite.

Bright Parasol appears in Shogunate Era histories as a retirement destination for officials leaving the court of the Shogun. However, during the devastation of the Great Contagion, the casualty rate in the region reached one hundred percent, and the devastation crumbled many of the villas and estates. The Cathedral of Doves, on the coast of the Inner Sea, is one of few remaining monuments to this faded past.
