Gatehouse of the South

The Gatehouse is a Legion lighthouse-manse fortress located on the coast two days’ ride southeast of Arjuf city, the Gatehouse guards the approaches to and from Arjuf. It is manned by a detachment of troops from the 30th Imperial Legion (sponsored by House Cathak).
It is known amongst poets as the site of ‘Rawar’s Rocks’, where the man who would become the first Imperial Husband of the Scarlet Empress carved a poem on the jagged rocks below the lighthouse to deliver Arjuf’s response to the bribes of the Seven Tiger-Generals.
