In addition to bulk cargoes of agricultural goods, wood, and Bear Bile, Somerit is also engaged in the shipping of Jade and Scavenged artifice. He is known to have extensive connections within the bureaucracy of the Realm, particularly the Azure Department for the Smooth and Harmonious Transport of Materials and the Contract Courts of the Thousand Scales.
