Cathak Cardai

Cathak Cardai is a Water-aspected Dynast of House Cathak, a son of Senator Cathak Kai-Deleth currentlyu serving as a deputy minister in the Thousand Scales' Right and Responsible Office of Official Education, having formerly served as a talonlord in the 1st Imperial Legion. His career path made an ascent to the Deliberative Senate his clear course, but disruptions in the wake of the Scarlet Empress' disappearance may have delayed such plans.

Sometimes known by the nickname 'Certain Knife', Cardai is a House loyalist, though rather mercenary in the alliances and affiliations he pursues to advance House interests and his career, and quite willing to go on aggressive attacks when disputing those who oppose him. He has long called for reforms of the Spiral Academy to crowd in more students and increase the labours required of them so as to pay the entirety of its own budget on outsourcing their labour, and most recently when the 4th Imperial Legion took over from the 1st as Imperial Garrison called for the assets of the Guardians of the Realm in the City, particularly the Imperial Force, to be transferred to 1st for safekeeping, a call which earned him the enmity of the Guardian's leader Nellens Birane.
