Well-Bee

The Well-Bee is a large bee which exists in the Eastern Threshold, striped red and white, flying on small wings as it gathers pollen from flowers. A long, thin stinger is used to inject a venom if the bee feels threatened: this venom works as a local anesthetic on the victim, numbing the area where it passes through the skin.

The Well-Bee was engineered during the Golden Age to supply components needed for the health of Creation's mortals, anesthetics and hollow needles for production of Uvanavu's Kisses. Many continue to reside in the wild, and The Guild oversees a number of large kept hives in the East from which it can harvest bees.
