Ledaal Catala Soreli is a middle-aged Senator of House Ledaal’s Deliberative caucus, and wife of fellow senator Cathak Milen. Rare for both Senators and members of the Scarlet Dynasty in general, Soreli was born outside the Blessed Isle, amongst the Catala Household holdings in the Scavenger Lands, first coming to the shores of the Isle only to attend primary school in Arjuf and secondary at the Spiral Academy before returning to the Catala manse for many decades.

Senator Soreli’s voting record has shown her to have little sympathy for the Thousand Scales and its various ministries, holding that the best governance ought not come from an activist administrative center but one which merely oversees regulations. She has also long pushed for the grant of an Imperial Monopoly to the Catala household on scavenger imports from the Scavenger Lands, though these efforts have never accumulated sufficient votes to pass out of debate.
