Ascending Fortune is a merchant of The Guild, serving as the factor of the Trade Factory at Karathay and major Guild figure within the Southwestern Seas. As Realm presence in the region has wavered first due to the conflict between House Peleps and House V'neef and now the ripples following the disappearance of the Scaqrlet Empress, Fortune has worked to expand Guild presence and influence in the region, with a clear eye towards eventual control over Bushan.
