Foe-Crushing Generator of Lamentations is a suit of articulated armor plate forged of black Soulsteel. The shoulder pauldrons are several curved layers of plate, spiked to dispel Essence buildup and lobstered for ease of movement. The full helmet has a pair of small antlers for a crest, and a white Jade visor sculpted to depict a fearsome grinning skull visage.

This sinister looking shell, also known as the Lamentor Armor, has a long and storied history. The white jade faceplate, called the Skullgrin Visor, originally belonged to another suit of armor dating back to the Shogunate. Carved from the bones of the earth itself, Meru jade, into the guise of a wicked skeletal warrior by artificers of a bygone age, the rest of the original was suit was lost during the Balorian Crusade, along with its matching black jade Grimscythe the Upright Reaper of Conscience.

The rest of the armour is commonly thought to be the younger piece by the Dragonblooded that have borne it, but it is likely in fact far older, its soulsteel manufacture marking it as beyond the normal craftsmanship of the Dragonblooded. Ancient texts in the libraries of the Heptagram speak of armour crafted in the times of the Anathema, by an artificer under the alias of Uxas, whose descriptions align with those of the Lamentor Armour, though it is uncertain if the connection between the two has been made in the Age of Sorrows. Those versed in artifice, and those experienced in attunement, surely recognize the Magical Material for what it is, but to those less aware its dark metal might well be taken for black Jade Steel.

The helm's faceplate was recovered by the exiled Haltan outcaste Malakos Rage-of-Ruin when he adventured as Sworn Brother of Sesus Chenow during their youth. It was joined to damaged soulsteel armour looted by Chenow himself in his ventures through ancient ruins, and Malakos wore the suit by order of Chenow through many battles and ventures alongside the son of Sesus, until he was welcomed into the Dynasty through marriage to one of Chenow's innumerable children. That line held the armour until it failed to produce an Exalted heir to take it up, when it was reclaimed by the main line of Chenow. A few decades ago, many thought it would be granted to Chenow's grandson Sesus Lahore, but it did not join him when he embarked to search for adventure in the Northeast.

Though it has likely never been studied, one experienced in such things might say that the white jade of the faceplate softens the whispers of the souls forged into the soulsteel, the moans and wails less prominent unless one finds reason to give them attention.

The armor is currently in the property of Sesus Septimus, and served him well in his campaigns in the northeast. It was granted to him as a wedding present by the Chenow branch upon his marriage to Ledaal Kitsume... perhaps a barbed gift for a low-bred Dragonblooded with little essence to his name. And yet, Septimus saw no more troubles donning nor attuning than with a suit of jade, for his bride-to-be and her mentor Ledaal Mercurio, who affixed to it a Fivefold Harmonic Adapter of First Age manufacture to allow the armour resonance with the essence of a Dragonblood. That this device is not a natural part of the armour, and that it was smuggled unregulated by the laws of the Realm or strictures of the Immaculate Order, remains unknown to its current bearer.
