Sesus Alon Gudaal is a male, Fire-aspected Senator of the House Sesus caucus, considered the Right-Hand Minister of Sesus Alon and something of a caucus ‘whip’ to corral Sesus senators into voting in line with their House: his strategy, however is more cajoling than the menace exerted upon the Mnemon caucus by his peer Mnemon Barad. He is husband of Ragara Kepame, a vice-minister serving in the Right and Responsible Office of Official Education and instructor at the Spiral Academy.

On the Deliberative floor, Gudaal has long towed the House line rather than pursuing his own legislation, and when he rises to speak many other Senators begin to sigh and groan… while others make speeches and declarations that can run longer, Gudal’s every statement is lengthy and involved, stuffed with technical detail drawn from bureaucratic reports. He has few deep enmities within the Greater Chamber, with one exception: the caucus of House Ledaal. The Ledaal have long held that Gudaal’s ancestral home, a fortified manse amidst the vast grain fields of northern Arjuf Dominion, encroaches upon their sphere of influence, and they have both lobbied the Scarlet Empress to strip him of its title at every opportunity, as well as resorting to all manner of petty disruptions to force its voluntary surrender. While House Sesus has at times thought surrender of the estate could bear political advantage, Gudaal has stood firm and borne such trials stoically. Now, however, with the Administrative Question pushing the Scarlet Dynasty closer to open conflict, many wonder how long it is before the Thousand Sheaf Redoubt is taken for the House of Stars by force.
