The Seaweed Fields are a wide expanse of ocean to the west of Murak, where local currents have brought together a mass of seaweed, growing in long fronds valued by the weavers of Karathay. Fishermen also frequent the area, to catch Conger Eels seeking shelter beneath the cover of the seaweed.
During the months of the Water Season, the Island of the Heavenly Lotus can often be found in the waters to the west of the Seaweed Fields.
