Writ of Heroes Returned Home in Glory

The Writ of Heroes Returned Home in Glory was a motion passed in the Deliberative Senate of the Realm in the month of Descending Earth, RY768. It granted two officers of the 4th Imperial Legion honours for their roles in the victory of the Campaign against the Anathema-Voivode.

Sesus Dochao, strategoi of the 4th Legion, was named Grand Heresy-Subduing General for leading the Legion to victory in the war, and Hero Beheading the Unclean Foe with Strength of Faith for slaying the Anathema in the Battle of the Drowned, and granted a large jade medallion announcing his titles.

Sesus Septimus, winglord of the 4th Legion 1st Dragon 2nd Wing, was named Hero Unleashing the Flood of Imperial Fury for destroying the First Age dam in the Battle on the Wall of Ice, and granted a medal and ribbon announcing his title.

The Writ is considered by many to have been a supporting document to the Writ of Noblest Garrison RY768, keeping the Scarlet Empire’s victory in the public eye and further linking the Deliberative with that success, though a number of Senators who had supported the initial Writ opposed the second, stating that the garrison honour was sufficient and further titles were undeserved.
