Young painter and musician of great skill, and a senator in the Deliberative. He is a proponent of ‘realist’ art, accurately duplicating sound and image seen in the real world, and has called for a centralized certification and licensing of artists in the manner of sorcerers, thaumaturges, and accountants. His efforts have on occasion pushed further, with lobbying for adoption of standards in nomenclature for colours and a common system of musical scales to replace the diaspora of individual and school-based systems which exist at present.

Amongst Hamdi's works is the painted view found on the walls of the upper levels in the pagoda of Toji Temple.
