Titles: Senator (Deliberative Greater Chamber), Dragonlord (2nd Imperial Legion), retired;

Tepet Berel Serekan was a Senator of the Hose Tepet caucus in the Deliberative, and husband to Tepet Aedmillia. Originally an Outcaste from Lord's Crossing Dominion, Serekan was schooled at Pasiap's Stair before entering the Imperial Legions. It is said that in his time serving with the 2nd Legion, he engaged in a rivalry with fellow officer Tepet Aedmillia, each seeking to outdo the other in securing deployments and victories for their units, both rising the ranks until Aedmillia held command of the 2nd Dragon and Serekan the 3rd Dragon.

Their Legion careers came to a sudden end soon after, when both were injured under unclear circumstances while patrolling the borders with the Scavenger Lands. In the aftermath, the Scarlet Empress chose to appoint them to the Deliberative and permit their immediate marriage. In the years since, Aedmillia and Serekan never had children, though the blessing of the Throne meant their union was never dissolved and Serekan was said to have taken to his wife's progeny from a previous marriage as if they were his own.

His record in the Deliberative was generally conservative, save for matters concerning the Scavenger Lands where he was particularly vocal in calling for a hard line and aggressive positioning. Initially supportive of the deployments that led to the War with the Bull, Serekan became increasingly critical of the Realm's failure to support the effort as victories turned to defeat. Serekan made a number of unsuccessful legislative proposals and efforts at negotiation to secure reinforcements and then ships to effect a withdrawal, culminating in his final bill, the 'Deployment of the Imperial Merchant Marine in Aid of the Imperial Legions', which sought to force the Realm's merchant fleet (in principle administered by House V'neef) to offer assistance. When the Yellow Banner of House V'neef caucus became particularly insulting (the record of debate shows a line dismissing the Senator as a 'senile, barren old man'), Serekan sought physical retribution and a brawl ensued. In that combat, Serekan was killed by V'neef Lucen.
