Tepet Marek Rock is a middle-aged Senator of the House Tepet caucus within the Deliberative and a graduate of the Spiral Academy.

When first appointed to the Deliberative, senator Rock proposed a number of bills considered extreme by more conservative senators, including an emergency fund for peasant villages unable to make their tax payments so they could avoid being declared Disenfranchised. However over the years his views have shifted, and in debate over recent Agricultural Subsidy Bills Rock has dismissed the proposals of senator V'neef Tapan as 'the misguided extremes of youth, demanding age to temper them'. Rock has, however, continually called for investment in Sorcery and Magitech research, and since the disappearance of the Scarlet Empress has been lobbying for reforms to the Black Helms to increase their powers and the quality of their commanders.

Some jest that he was named by a completely unimaginative mother, others that his name was an experiment in the effect of personal identity on Exaltation. Rock himself refuses to speak on the matter.
