Spetum

A spetum is a type of polearm, a long pole topped with a long, thin spearhead from whose base extend two sharpened projections. Kept properly sharp, the weapon is able to make deadly thrusts with the main blade, that can score hits with the side blades even if slightly deflected. The projections can also be used for tripping and parrying blows, and slashed in the manner of a poleaxe.

The spetum is most commonly identified with the Unsurpassable Guard of House Mnemon, who wield spetum of Firmin Ichor as their primary weapon.
