Scarpfall

Scarpfall is an island in the Western Oceans, northwest of Azure Coast and southeast of Thassa Island. Scarpfall has a little fresh water and trees for ship repair, but with a flat surface above steep shores and no good harbour for ships to shelter, the island had little appeal until the past couple of decades saw immigration of human settlers seeking to eke out lives here based on cultivating Yams and Breadfruit, trading these and water with the occasional vessel to pass by and send out a boat.

However, the last ship to report stopping at Scarpfall, in the Earth Season of RY768, reported that the island seemed to have been entirely depopulated, with clear signs of a massacre that had slain every man, woman, and child on the island, burning their torn bodies on the pyres of their own homes. With such a shadow over the island, no further attempts at settlement are thought likely.
