Peleps Zihui is a Water-aspected Senator of the House Peleps Deliberative caucus.

In legislation, Zihui regularly calls on the Thousand Scales to increase oversight and efficiency, but unlike many in the Greater Chamber who link concerns over corruption with a need to cut budgets, she has largely voted in favour of expanding departments such as the Home Office and Jade Sniffers. Zihui is, however, an opponent of increased spending on the Imperial Navy, Imperial Legions, and the Guardians of the Realm, and her calls for oversight are particularly strong where these institutions are concerned… some have accused her of pacifism, as she has collaborated with senator V’neef Dalyr in previous years, and while House rivalries have likely kept them from pursuing a shared agenda Zihui has largely avoided accusations of treason from within her caucus due to the general acceptance amongst Peleps senators when it comes to oversight of the military, against the firm opposition of the House V’neef caucus.
