Type: Mortal

Ledaal Ora (born RY657) was a mortal of House Ledaal, wife to Tepet Chotei, with whom she had three children: Tepet Choro, Tepet Shogo, and Tepet Yumei.

Ora's first marriage was to Tepet Ikeboshi, a young officer of the 9th Imperial Legion, serving under the command of Tepet Chotei. Both were mortal Dynasts, though their lines did not have steady production of Exalted children. Unfortunately, Ora's husband was called away to rejoin a Legion campaign soon after they were wed, before she had been made with child. Alas, he was slain in the field in the Seventy Spears Rebellion of RY684, before he was able to return, in the which risked invalidating the marriage… in a House where the inauspicious is of concern and the beds of sorcerer cousins yearn to be warmed, Ora's mourning had an even more terrifying edge.

Chotei, himself a widower, returned to the Blessed Isle to deliver his fallen officer's effects and condolences in person, and emerged from the meeting committing to marriage, despite the disapproval of his House.

Ora and Chotei had three children: Choro was born in RY702 and Shogo RY743. Both Exalted into the Aspect of Air and went on through the House of Bells to serve in the 9th Imperial Legion. She bore her last child, mortal daughter Yumei, in RY752, but the pregnancy was a difficult one due to her age and mortal body. Ora died of natural causes soon after in RY753 at the age of ninety-six.
