Ledaal Grey Herbs is an elder Senator of House Ledaal. Appointed to the Senate as a young woman, Senator Grey Herbs is not the eldest of Deliberators but has been continually serving longer than any of her colleagues. This has left her well connected in both legislative circles and the Thousand Scales, and she is known to be deeply involved in political planning and plotting, as well as overseeing negotiations over legislation with other Houses. Some viewed House Ledaal’s decision to raise up its cadre of so-called ‘City Maidens’ as a snub to curtail Grey Herb’s glowing influence at the time, preventing her from emerging as caucus chair, though if this is true few can find proof or even acrimony between them.

A veteran Senator, Grey Herbs is considered well spoken, her wits undulled by years, though hers is a more methodical and less confrontational approach than that of many Senators, a preference for honey rather than vinegar which has led some to see weakness.

Senator Ledaal Lethas was a protégé of Senator Grey Herbs, having served as her page before rising to the Senate himself. His recent illness is known to weigh heavy upon her.
