Lake Kol

Lake Kol is a small principality of the Northeastern forests. It is bordered to the north by the headwaters of the River of Black Branches and the Gossamer Stockade , to the south by Lake Kol and the Nessus River , and to the west by the Golden Leaf Canal and Soja.

Lake Kol is a source of Ironwood and fish for the surrounding realms. Its only real distinction is the presence of an Immaculate Temple, whose outcaste monk has spent the past several centuries attempting to blunt the excesses of local gods and fight encroachment by the Fair Folk. The monk, Blossoming Piety, has attempted without success to have the Palace Sublime send out a Dragonblooded successor appointed to join him, replacing him when age finally takes him, as it will likely do in the coming decades. Immaculate Faith, though perhaps tied as much to the selfless monk as true devotion to the Order, has left the inhabitants of Lake Kol unwilling to tolerate extortionist spirits or Fae depredations.
