Description

Indiscriminate Justice is a common Warstrider of red Jade Steel, bearing the simple adornments common to the warstriders of the Scarlet Empire, the pentagram of the Realm emblazoned on its chestplate and the eagle-feather of House Sesus on its shoulders. A cloak of burgundy cloth, also adorned with the House Sesus mon as well as the markings of the 4th Legion, hangs from its broad shoulders. The warstrider stands 18ft tall.

Indiscriminate Justice's only technical innovation is the inclusion of the warstrider-scaled Gauntlets of Distant Claws known as Loving Embrace.

History

Indiscriminate Justice was commissioned by House Sesus in RY652 at the behest of the Scarlet Empress, to serve with the forces of the 8th Imperial Legion after they had suffered the loss of a warstrider to technical errors. It was constructed at the Factory-Cathedral of the Exalted Battle Girded in Power and Fury, and commissioned into service in RY655. The warstrider included a design innovation new to the warstriders of the Scarlet Empire, its hands bearing an artifact mechanism based on the warstrider chain dagger and the design for the smaller-scaled Gauntlets of Distant Claws. Intended to allow the warstrider to close quickly with large opponents or make vertical ascents in difficult terrain, technical malfunctions and lack of relevance saw the mechanism deemed a failure. The warstrider was transferred to the 4th Imperial Legion in RY682.

Serving with the 4th, Indiscriminate Justice saw use mostly in policing and bandit suppression actions in the northern and northeastern Threshold. In the Campaign against the Anathema-Voivode, its accomplishments were generally unremarkable, though it saw battle in the Battle of the Drowned, able to hold position in face of the flooding torrents unleashed by the destruction of the Wall of Ice.

Indiscriminate Justice is currently attached to the 4th Imperial Legion Warstrider Talon 1st Warstrider Fang. It is piloted by talonlord Sesus Dehuo, commander of the 4th's warstrider contingent.
