Many members of the Scarlet Dynasty depart the Blessed Isle to travel Creation, serving in the Legions, Immaculate Order, or other institutions, or as adventurers and roving heroes seeking excitement and accomplishment outside of life at court. But for some, departure is a more permanent affair… such expatriate Dynasts are those who have been sent into exile and barred from returning, through overt proclamation or unspoken plot, by the Scarlet Empress or the Houses of the Dynasty. A small number even make the choice to declare rejection of the Realm and fight hard against those who try and force their return.
