Yatosin Prefecture

Yatosin Prefecture is located in the White Coast region of the northern Blessed Isle. It is a land of picturesque white sand beaches dotted with fishing villages and resorts for the wealthy of the Scarlet Empire, with its inland reaches home to a number of ‘scroll estates’ for sorcerers seeking time in private for their research, as well as the Scarlet Empress private manse-gallery, the House of Bamboo and Chrysanthemum. To the west can be found Gleaming Sands Prefecture.

House Ragara has the greatest Dynastic presence in the prefecture. Their 14th Imperial Legion patrols the prefecture’s roads, though it does not have any fixed garrisons. The Guardians of the Realm in the prefecture are considered particularly well-drilled, due to the need to maintain the security and satisfaction of influential Dynastic estate-holders.

The capital is the town of Yatosin, home to a port capable of serving seagoing vessels as well as the local detachments of the Thousand Scales.

Unknown to nearly all in the Realm itself, Yatosin Prefecture is home to a Yu-Shan Gateway.
