Shining Barrator

Implacable Shining Barrator is a Celestial Lion, serving as Legate of Lions in charge of the Department of Peculiar Matters of Special Import in the Bureau of Heaven’s Division of Divine Order. As head of the ‘Special Branch’, Shining Barrator is charged with investigating and countering the machinations of the gravest threats to Heaven and Earth, such as the Neverborn and the Yozis.

Shining Barrator is legendary for his skill and accomplishments, and while technically as a Legate is equal in rank to the head of the Department of Proper Passage through Heavenly Ways, in practice the respect shown him buy his fellow Lions makes him de facto leader of their ranks. His nickname, ‘Implacable’, was granted him by those who have dealt with him due to his unflinching self-discipline and unshakeable dedication to completing the goals he has set himself, which in his current role include eliminating all alien influences over the Celestial Bureaucracy and seeing traitors who would serve those evils delivered their just punishments.

Shining Barrator is quietly proud to have been so titled, leading to a lack of objection which has left most considering it a necessary part of his full name.
