The term 'Calin' can be found in numerous places in the history of Creation, referring to several different people and places.

Fallaha Calin - A hero of the early Shogunate Era, who is known in some Immaculate Apocrypha as a follower of the Immaculate of Earth Pasiap. Calin gave his name to the Steel Colossus which he is said to have felled, to the city and realm which contain that great statue, and often to the children of Shogunate military families who honoured his accomplishment, a tradition that still continues uncommonly amidst the Dragonblooded of the present Age.

Steel Colossus of Calin - A great statue, once said to have been a blasphemous golden idol to a terrible Anathema. It was cleansed and felled by the hero Fallaha Calin.

Port Calin - A city in the River Province, whose harbour is home to the fallen Steel Colossus. It was founded at the end of the Great Contagion, in the ruins of a Shogunate-era city that preceded it, its population choosing to name the new city-state for the hero who had felled that monument.

Calin Shogunate - The large River Province state made up of Port Calin and several former rival states brought into its fold during the Calibration War.

Ledaal Calin - Admiral of the Scarlet Dynasty, commanding the Imperial Navy Water Fleet.
