Ledaal Altair is a young Senator of the House Ledaal Deliberative caucus, and son of fellow Senator Ledaal Lacra. Altair is considered something of a dilettante, spending more time attending galas and salons than temple or the Senate. In his youth, he is known to have forgone secondary schooling or subalternship to travel the East and the Scavenger Lands.

Like his mother, Altair is considered somewhat liberal in voting record, supporting renewed funding for some of the departments of the Thousand Scales. He has also proven sympathetic to the slaves of the Realm, having co-sponsored the Writs of Emancipation pushed by Senator Cynis Tenezar more often than any other Senator… this has not, however, seen his votes cast in favour of more far-reaching legislation to reduce or alter the Realm's slavery system.
