Dark Petal is a mortal citizen of the Realm, currently serving as a technician with the 2nd Imperial Legion out of Vatamu. Originally trained as a thaumaturge-technician for service in the Bureau of Climactic Deliberations, Dark Petal was considered an expert in the repair and maintenance of Mantis Towers. She was released when that ministry suffered mass reductions as part of the Deliberative's cutbacks to the Thousand Scales.
