For a reader with 4 dots or more, it is a highly technical critique of the magitech field known as microtheurgy, as it relates to the production of control arrays for warstriders. Gemstone Monsoon Daughter asserts that the replication of divine pantheons on increasingly miniature scales, while it produces desired results, is flawed at its base: it attempts to replicate the systems of Creation, when in fact the ideal that SHOULD be replicated is that of Celestial Exaltation, which tears asunder the limitations of Creation to achieve even greater things. Only this route, Daughter asserts, can reach the true heights of which a warstrider is capable. Rather than microtheurgy, a warstrider must be controlled by channelling essence through the lens of a soul worthy of Exaltation, infusing the motes with that soul’s unrealized potential as it resonates with the fulfilled potential of the pilot.
