World Mind

The World Mind is a concept proposed by several different groups, which hold that Creation itself is somehow a living thing, with its own thoughts and wishes and drives. Amongst the Salinan School of Sorcery, the World Mind is the term for Creation as A mind, living things as its thoughts. The Cult of the Earth Mother holds instead that the Primordial Gaia IS Creation, Creation is her body and being, her thoughts are its thoughts. Still others see the world mind as expressing Creation having but one consciousness, all thinking creatures in fact interconnected, sharing a psychic link.
