Excerpt: The Seven Kisses
The first kiss is to the hand, on the fingertips. Appropriate for court, allowing one to show favor to one's suitor openly. The second kiss is to the wrist; the inside of the wrist for intimacy, presenting the outside to show displeasure. The third kiss is to the palm of the hand. The fourth is to the collarbone. The fifth is placed on the neck, an aggressive lover often chooses the back of the neck while an eager one kisses below the jaw. The sixth kiss is to the lobe of the ear. Finally, the last kiss is to the lips.
