Sources: The material presented here and in the associated articles on the Calinti comes from a number of sources, including the 1st Edition books Scavenger Sons and Outcaste, the 2nd Edition books CoTDI - Scavenger Lands and Scroll of Kings, and both editions of Dragonblooded books, as well as various wikis (official Exalted, unofficial Exalted (particularly JesseLowe's take on the Marin Bay Redoubt), Oakthorne), various campaigns set or planned in the area (of which I've only been able to track specifically back to one proposed by Cthulhu_Wakes on RPNation), and some real-life cultures and histories.

Nearly everything presented is a convoluted mix of the borrowed, the adapted, and the invented, blended and brewed to achieve sufficient depth.
