Szorean Brandy

Szorean Brandy is a rare liquor sometimes found in the cabinets of sorcerers. It is brewed in the Yozi Realms of Malfeas, from the silver root-branches of the forest Szoreny that are broken from their heights by the rampages of the Black Boar Isidoros. These branches fall and are gathered by the paper-demon Okisthini who inhabit the Silver Forest, forever reshaping their own bodies. On occasion, one will take a shape whose forms perfectly convey the sacred recipe for brewing brandy from the roots... such a demon is sometimes noted by his companions, or by Erymanthoi wandering eager for drink, who raise much ruckus at the sight.

The demon-who-is-recipe is taken and unravelled, piece by piece revealing the secrets of the brew even as its screams sweeten the elixir. The liquid boils and bubbles beneath the light of the green sun, producing a fiery orange liquor alcoholic enough to give Exalt or demon pause, containing a thousand flavours and a thousand temperatures at once.

The drink is rare, little known in Creation, though Sorcerers will sometimes manage to obtain a jar of Szorean Brandy for their own use.
