Searing Fire of Ultimate Glory is a grand daiklave forged of red jade-steel. It is decorated with aniconic flame imagery, and bears the mon symbol of House Cathak on its pommel.

The blade was commissioned for Cathak C’taru by Prince Cathak when she graduated from the House of Bells. She wielded the blade in many engagements, including against the armies of the Anathema Jochim during the Campaign against the Mountain, and it was passed to her own daughter Cathak Meata upon the girl’s Exaltation. She in turn passed it to her son Cathak Okubo upon his graduation from the Academy for Cultivation of Youthful Talents and acceptance to the House of Bells.

Following Okubo’s death in RY768, the blade appears to have come into the possession of Cathak Baitai, duelist of the 2nd Imperial Legion.
