Rejak is the god of Bloody River, a river of moderate size in the Northeastern Threshold passing through Bloody River before marking the border between Jarrith and Rokan-jin, where it flows into the River of Fallen Leaves and then on to the Silver River.

For much of his existence, Rejak recieved prayer from passing tribes who took of his water, but his position was quite minor: the presence of larger redwoods sucked water from the soil at rapid pace, preventing his river from growing larger, and the fact the Bloody became part of the River of Fallen Leaves rather than the other way around was someting which irked him to no end.

During the time of the Contagion, Rejak entered into a dispute with the tribal god Dreaming Lotus over who deserved the worship of the tribes, who clung to the banks of the river for water. The dispute was settled with the arrival of the god Gradig, who proposed a divine triumvirate to secure worship for all three, his post in the Bureau of Heaven allowing deflection of auditing while each cooperated to see all of their domains protected and expanded.

Once upon a time, Rejak appeared a pretty young man, clad in wet rust-coloured robes. But as Bloody River has transformed and his waters changed from hydrating trees and tribes to industrial applications, he has changed as well. Now he is clad in heavy armour of rusted iron, and bears a direlance of blue jade, though both seem oversized for his small frame. His speech is peppered with martial terms and gleeful talk of war.

Today, Rejak is considered the most unstable of the three gods ruling Bloody River, his two peers worrying privately that he has lost all sense of perspective. He is an eager supporter of the Bull of the North, for the river god envisions himself a god of war, and the God of Eastern War is known to have supported the Bronze Faction against the Solar Exalted. The Bull will need to replace her, and who could be better for the post than his loyal friend Rejak?
