Ragara Soras Heral is a middle-aged Dynast of House Ragara, known for his good looks, energetic oratory, and love of luxuries (paticularly finely-crafted jewelry). A keen mind trained at the Spiral Academy, some consider Heral to be the chief accountant of House Ragara from his position on its ruling Council of Elders. Others whisper that his place on the Council owes nothing to skill and all to the fact he is the lover of its chair Ragara Banoba.

Heral makes no effort to conceal his love for the finer things in life, nor for Banoba. His loyalty to House is also well known, his assertions that Banoba and House Ragara are best suited to assume the Throne should the Scarlet Empress fail to return. Heral has even implied that the House ought begin leveraging debts owed in order to secure votes to this end in the Deliberative, something which has irked no few Senators, though the more conservative members of the Council have so far halted any efforts in this direction.

Those who dismiss Heral as merely the lover of Ragara's head oft forget his demonstrable success in business ventures, and the fact he has been invited several times to return to the Spiral Academy as a guest lecturer, where his lessons on exploiting opportunity are most popular with students.
