Pine Mushroom

Pine mushrooms are a fungi which grow in symbiotic relation and sheltered by the roots of certain pine trees, usually concealed under fallen leaves and duff on the forest floor, or where soil and refuse have gathered on the thick branches of giant Redwood trees.
The mushroom is prized by chefs for its distinct spicy-aromatic odor and flavour.
