Photolithographic Brush

The Photolithographic Brush is a tool found in Manufactory Cathedrals, which is used to apply infinitesimally light and thin layers to surfaces. This effect is achieved by way of pure light directed into the brush through the structure of the Cathedral, and is useful to artificers seeking to create Gradient Alloys, apply specialized enamels, or to apply patterns to Adamantine Glass for Essence Circuitry for elements requiring an even more subtle touch than etching with Theonuminal Transduction Engines.

The Brushes are of no use outside of the Cathedral: they draw their power from the structure of such facilities, and their layering is so thin that any impure contaminants in their surroundings will become trapped between layers, rendering any object they produce worthless.
