Peno Fruit

The Peno is a thin tree, native to warmer jungle climes in the southeastern and southwestern Threshold. Peno trees favour swampy areas of thick underbrush.
The fruit of the Peno tree grows from small clusters of leaves at the end of each branch. It is somewhat similar to a plantain in shape, though its skin is green ripening to red. Its flesh is soft and juicy, with flavour some have compared to a mild pineapple with hints of mango.
