Peleps Danic Gican is a male Water-aspect and respected Senator of the House Peleps Deliberative caucus. Gican is considered by many to be an upstanding legislator, emulating Danaa’d in remaining self-sufficient in casting his votes on the merits of each individual law without falling into the chains of clique or cabal. Gican is known to be better connected with the Lower Chamber than most Dynastic Senators, though this has become far less valuable of late.

Perhaps related, Gican has made some enemies in the Greater Chamber with what may have been an off-hand comment in RY678 that the classroom understanding between Dynasts and patricians built at school was invaluable, and that ‘certain educational institutions lose much by their exclusivity’, which was taken to refer to the most elite schools such as the House of Bells and Academy for Cultivation of Youthful Talents. The alumni of such schools continue to remember this slight, and to this day when brawls break out Gican’s bones oft end up broken for reasons unconnected to the current debate.
