Peleps Arden is a young male Water-aspect of poor breeding, a Senator in the House Peleps Deliberative caucus. The son of two patrician Deliberators from the Lesser Chamber, Arden was expected to follow in their footsteps when he came of age... a plan thrown into disarray by his unexpected Exaltation towards the end of primary school.

Following Exaltation, Arden was adopted into the household of Senators Peleps Shuseki and Peleps Sasayaka, securing the Peleps caucus deeper connections with the Lesser Chamber in exchange for Dynastic favour for his former family. In the absence of the Scarlet Empress and the acceptance of Greater Chamber resolutions as law by the Imperial Regent, the benefits to House Peleps from this exchange have all but vanished.

While the Empress still sat on the Scarlet Throne, Arden was assertive in providing the Deliberative with views from the Lesser Chamber and its Patrician legislators, sometimes working alongside senator Nellens Poramo, though Arden took a more aggressive line next to Poramo’s well-known optimism. In Her absence, he has fallen almost entirely silent, voting in lockstep with his adoptive parents.
