Ledaal Byrada, born RY418 is an elder Senator of House Ledaal's caucus in the Deliberative. Involved in artifice during her youth, Byrada was wed to one of the remnant members of House Iselsi, during a time when House Ledaal believed the Scarlet Empress kept them from complete dissolution as part of a plan to restore them. This turned out to be wrong, and he was put to death by her parents when that dissolution was declared, after which she took up a career in politics.

Byrada has a key understanding of the rules and regulations of the Deliberative, and though she has not sought the post of Incorruptible Secretary she serves as a font of procedural knowledge for the rest of her caucus. She has long been a proponent of Senators forming ‘study groups’, gathering to deeply investigate issues and present reports to the Greater Chamber, which in the Empress' absence has evolved into backing formation of Senate committees with authority over the Realm's institutions. She has also long opposed knee-jerk military responses to Threshold issues.
