Goose Beak Spire, centrally located on Goose Beak Point along the coast of Gleaming Sands Prefecture, is a fortified air-aspected lighthouse-manse said to have been constructed by the Shogunate Era architect Bringer-of-Light.

While many lighthouse-manses in Creation can serve as military installations, mounting weapons to deter attack from the sea, the Goose Beak Spire was designed with special care for defense from landward assault as well, including fortified barracks and magazines and outer walls incorporating sealable slits for essence cannons and lightning ballistae.

Its geomancy incorporates features designed to calm the surrounding weather, and its bright white light flashes regularly day and night to warn passing ships to be wary of the shallow coastal waters and the strong winds which plague the oceans off the northern Isle.

It is currently home to a token force from the 14th Imperial Legion, though the Imperial Merchant Navy has asserted that it ought have control over the Isle's lighthouses rather than the Legions due to its maritime responsibilities.
