The Garden of Ten Thousand Orange Groves is the massive estate of Cynis Rahe, vast greenhouses and orchards producing fruit and drugs, distilleries working to convert produce to liqueurs. In addition to the oranges which form the largest crop, the estate’s production includes hot chilis (Rahe’s greenhouses standing as the only local source in the northern Blessed Isle), peaches, Marijuana, Qat, poppies, Monkshood, and innumerable others. Rahe’s legions of slave labourers are based out of several barracks-villages scattered around the estate, which house between ten and twenty thousand at any one time. An additional, more luxurious village houses the slavedrivers.

At the center of the estate is a palatial manse of glass and plants, in which are located the Dynastic quarters and chambers for entertaining. Lady Rahe is known for her lascivious parties, the most well-known of which is the Orange Blossom Gala, an exotic hunt held on the grounds.

The entire estate is surrounded by a high stone wall. Without battlements or slits, it is not well suited to defend from attack, but the jagged spikes of glass atop it and jutting over its inner side indicate its true purpose is not keeping people out, but rather keeping them within.
