Gala of Perfected Performance

Time: Annually, on the 4th day of Resplendent Wood.

Location: V’neef wing of the Imperial Palace (Imperial City)

Host: V’neef Mahara

Invitations: The events of the Gala are open to any spectators who wish to come, though those who lack respect shall be asked to leave. Invitations are issued, however, to prominent performers and poets across the Realm, including outcastes and even mortals who have shown exemplary skill. An invitation to perform at the Gala is a confirmation that one’s art has reached Dynastic standard.

Theme and Activity: Held by V'neef Mahara in the V'neef section of the Imperial Palace. Not so much a party as a series of concerts, where the most promising musical, theatre, and poetic talents in the Realm display their skills to a discerning audience. A performance at the Gala can be the key to riches and success in one's chosen field. It is divided into several performances, with breaks between, and few Dynasts stay to watch all... rather, they choose those media or artists who seem most intriguing to them.
