Dreamstone

Appearance: Round, greenish gemstone similar in to an Opal.

Description: A rare gem which records the dreams of a sleeper in contact with it (small R4 stones hold one dream, large R5 stones hold all dreams from one night). These can be viewed by simply touching them to one’s forehead while sleeping, or by holding the stone and practicing a simple meditation (a similar meditation can erase the stone for a new recording).

Certain complex methods of liquifying and concentrating large quantities of dreamstone can be used to produce exotic components for works of artifice concerned with memory, though in the present Age it would take the combination of a full decade of all Creation's dreamstone production to produce a useful component.
