Appearance: A hard, clear faceted gemstone.

Description: One of the ‘Five Tears of the Dragons’, sometimes known as the ‘Tears of Pasiap’. Considered both rare and beautiful. Attributed with the qualities of Earth, perfection, strength and endurance. Thought to protect against nightmares and add strength to one’s virtues. Diamond is incredibly hard, and is a vital component of tools designed to work with the Five Magical Materials. A single diamond of sufficient quality and size to set in jewelry or form a tool costs at least R3. Diamonds are particularly favoured by House Mnemon.
